Backpressure - SERIES TX-ME

This line of action machines consists of multistage turbines with power up to 4,000 HP, working condition up to 45 BAR of admission steam, 450 ºC of temperature, and 3 BAR of outlet steam; Backpressure, multistage and multivalve.

• CHARACTERISTICS
 

TURNING ASSEMBLY

• The shaft and discs are produced in forged steel. The blades and covering tapes are in stainless steel, with the discs being assembled through an interference in the shaft , and keyed to or made with full rotor and shaft. The turning assembly is dynamically balanced according to Standard NBR 10.149/ABNT.

FRAMES

• Horizontally split and cast in alloy steel. The rotor inspection may be performed by removing only the upper portion of the frame (cover). The same is repeated for the bearings.
 

STEAM SEALING

• Labyrinth type, appropriate for a high sealing efficiency

BEARINGS

• Radial: Bearing shell in steel, lined with babbitt metal
• Axial: Sliding with oscillating cushions.

SPEED REGULATOR

• Mechanical (Texas)
• Mechanical/Hydraulic (Woodward/Texas)
• Electronic/Hydraulic (Woodward/Texas)

LUBRICATION SYSTEM

• The lubrication system is forced, and its oil tank is provided in two versions: integrated with the turbine base or composed of on a separate console. It is also part of the system: an auxiliary oil pump (electric), heat exchanger, single or duplex oil filters, pressure regulators, etc.

SAFETY SYSTEM

Stop for excess speed due to:

• Stop due to excess axial displacement of rotor.
